" The name’s Benny Rune and don’t you fucking forget it. I’m nineteen years young and I was born on the fifth of July. I was held back a grade, so yeah, I’m still in the fucking twelfth grade but I wouldn’t say shit if I were you. I just barely passed my junior year, but I slept with my teacher and she passed me, so here I am. Yeah, don’t say anything though – because that’s just something I haven’t even told my best of friends, brother, sister or anyone. So that’s my ‘secret’ and don’t be going around saying shit, got it? I’m the quarterback and captain of the football team; you’d be stupid if you didn’t know that. My grades suck, so I have little losers do my work for me and copy off my best friend, Anna Murphy when it comes to homework. She doesn’t give a shit, so why not? You’d probably think it was cruel of me to be as mean as I am to my little brother – James Rune – but here’s the thing; if I don’t toughen him up now, he’ll stay the little pansy he is for the rest of his life and fail.

I grew up in a house with two little siblings, James and Violet. They’re alright I guess, but I’d much rather have my friends live with me. Don’t get me wrong though, you fuck with them, I’ll kick your ass. The only people that can fuck with them are me and my friends, because we don’t mean anything by it. So, anyways. My parents are filthy rich and it’s always been like that. My mom works full time and my dad’s a novelist or some shit like that, so he’s always home. My dad’s fucking awesome, he always has been. He buys me and the guy’s drinks and watches football with us, and doesn’t even get mad when we play jokes on Jamie. He’s practically one of us. My little brother claimed that he hit him once, but it’s total bull shit. My dad wouldn’t do that to him, he’s just trying to get the attention that he wants but can’t get because he’s not good enough to earn it on his own without lying. My grades were never the best, and I always get in trouble at school, but I’m rarely grounded unless the news gets to my mom.

So me and my mom don’t really get along as well as my dad and I do. She thinks I’m too cocky and arrogant, but that’s bull shit too. I’m confident in myself, what can I say? I’m hot and have killer charm. All the ladies want me, they’re just too scared to get me because they think I’ll just break their heart… which isn’t far from the truth. I’m scared of commitment, and of a girl finding out about my sleeping with Mrs. Henderson… I don’t want to be that gross kid that slept with his teacher, even though she was pretty hot. If you really mean something to me, I will defend you, or protect you, or whatever else. I’m not completely heartless. It’s just that jock instinct that makes it seem like it. So yeah, I will shove you against a locker if you’re in my way and look like a total geek. That’s just how I am. I will throw out rude remarks towards the teacher in the middle of class. And sometimes, if a girls stupid enough, I like to trick them into thinking I like them and sleep with them to push the charade forward. Either get used to how I roll or get out.
